Street Churros

Do you like churros? Do you like ice cream? These are rhetorical questions. Of course you do. I don’t know why I haven’t had this in the past, but for some reason soft serve milk ice cream pairs extremely well with churros. Street Churros has started in South Korea, but they are going international and it’s easy to see why.

If you were like me and were completely oblivious to this heavenly creation, please make your way to itaewon and try some for yourself. You won’t be disappointed. I was eating it so slowly because I didn’t want it to end.

So when you arrive, you have different options for the type of churro, flavoring, or ice cream you want. The churros are either cinnamon or honey nut. They come in u-shapes because it makes it convenient to arc both ends into your ice cream cup. They also have different flavors of ice cream, which include original milk, vanilla, charcoal green tea, or an Oreo chocolate horchata scoop. I believe they also have a hot chocolate pudding dip as well. If you feel adventurous, you can try out their churro hot dogs, which come in OG, cheese, and fire flavors. If churros aren’t your thing, you can opt for the fruit juice or coffee, tea, or milk tea with just ₩500 more for boba.

You can’t really go wrong with any of these, but I got the original milk with a churro in it and I had zero regrets. Go try one for yourself at Noksapyeong and let me know what you think!
