I paid for my meal and received no discounts or special promotions. Below is my food critic review.
Taste – The Burgers were well-salted and the buns were soft and fresh.
Technique – The patty, buns, and toppings were great and would make even the most basic burger stand out.
Creativity – Their buns are truly unique. The bun tops are sometimes smaller than the base, but this allows the restaurant to stack toppings in an inverted conical-shape so it can hold all of the toppings. Don't let go of the top while you are eating though. No worries if you do. There are forks and knives.
Presentation – Burger plates comes with a garnish which makes it have a restaurant feel despite the cozy atmosphere.
Service – The staff is very attentive and asks if you would like another drink once your drink is empty, which is nice.
Value – Burgers start at around ¥1000 and go up from there, but the ingredients are fresh and premium burgers in Tokyo are expected to be a bit pricey. There are lunch and drink sets to make it worth your money as well.
The atmosphere – The restaurant is small, but cozy. The counter allows you to talk to your friend as well as the chefs and servers. You can order takeout through the side window you aren't in the mood to sit inside, or if it's too busy.
Cleanliness – It's clean.
This one was fun to draw. The buns are what stood out for me, but the toppings didn't fall short of delicious as well. I drank two cokes and ate all of the fries because of course I did. I'll be back. Thanks Chatty Chatty!
